Hello Jim and Terry, I am a CFO by weekday and a remodeler as a weekend hobby, which comes in handy since I own 10 rental properties. I have used many vinyl railing systems in the past, the best to date before Great Railings was a product called Color Guard Vinyl Railing, very similar to Great Railing product with aluminum in the top and bottom rail and a similar bracket fastening system. The reason I researched and found Great Railings on the internet was the cost of the Color Guard system was twice that of Great Railing. I was very skeptical because of the price difference but after talking with Terry and reading on the website I decided to try their product. The ordering process was easy and the shipping costs were very reasonable via Fed Ex two day. I installed with the help of one semi-skilled laborer, approximately 70 feet of railing, 20 feet of which was on a handicapped ramp in about 6 hours total. I have attached 3 photo's of the project and would definitely use Great Railings for all my future vinyl railing projects.
